Request for Early Retirement by Ministry of Education Official

A Ministry of Education official has requested early retirement due to allegations of sexual harassment. The Ministry, informed by the Police, is initiating procedures for his suspension. The Public Service Commission will review both matters and make a decision accordingly. If the request for early retirement is accepted, it will prevent the suspension process. The first court date for the charges is set for October 30.
