Announcement of Promotions in the Police

The Chief of Police announced today the restoration of promotions following three annulments by the Administrative Court. Among those reinstated is the MP Rita Superman and the late Police Director Charalampos Zachariou. The new promotions concern the ranks of inspector and senior inspector, initiated following legal guidance. Additionally, special promotions and retroactive adjustments were decided for other staff. The Chief also extended appointments for senior inspectors.
