General Healthcare System: Impacts and Challenges

Six years after the implementation of the General Healthcare System, most citizens express satisfaction, but trust seems to have decreased slightly since 2023. The greatest benefit identified is the reduction or elimination of healthcare service costs. However, waiting lists remain a significant issue, even though there are indications of improvement in waiting times. Citizens' knowledge about their rights and duties within the system is limited, which raises concerns. Despite the shortcomings, the majority acknowledges a positive impact of the system's implementation on their quality of life.
