Increase in Allowance for Remote Communities

The Cabinet has decided to increase the allowance for residents of 15 remote communities. The second tier of allowances is being abolished, with communities being moved to the next tier. The new tiers are €300 for residents of certain communities and €600 for others. Notably, communities in the Tylliria area will receive an additional 50% increase. Beneficiaries do not need to reapply to receive the increased amounts.
