Increase in Drivers Over 70 Years Old in Greece

The number of drivers over 70 years old has been steadily increasing in recent years. In 2023, the count reached 73,305, while the number of drivers under 70 has significantly decreased. In 2019, there were 60,443 drivers in this age group, which has grown each year. Currently, about one in seven drivers is over 70 years old. The data was provided by the Minister of Transport, Alexis Vafeadis.
