Johnson & Johnson Found Liable for Asbestos in Baby Powder
October 8, 2025
Johnson & Johnson has been ordered to pay $966 million to the family of a woman who died from asbestos-related cancer. The woman used the company's baby powder, which contained talc. J&J claims its products are safe and do not contain asbestos. However, the company faces over 67,000 lawsuits for similar cases. J&J stopped selling talc-based baby powder and switched to cornstarch-based products.
