Shifts in Business Activity: Entrepreneurs Turn to Malls

Shopping malls in Cyprus are attracting more visitors while traditional shopping streets are suffering. Many business owners are closing their stores in commercial streets and moving towards malls in search of new opportunities. At the same time, there is fierce competition for locations of new malls, particularly in Limassol. The plan to build two new malls close to each other has raised concerns among local residents and shopkeepers. Many fear that these new establishments will negatively impact their businesses.
