Examination of the Dismissal Case of Judge Doria Varosiotou

The case of judge Doria Varosiotou, who was dismissed from the Supreme Court, is being examined by the Supreme Constitutional Judicial Council. Her lawyer, Achilleas Dimitriadis, argued that one cannot be a 'part-time judge' and that the appointment is permanent. He also questioned the legality of the dismissal process and the right to a hearing of his client. On the other hand, the Supreme's lawyer stated that the appointment process was legal.
