Upgrading Larnaca and Paphos Airports to Strengthen Cyprus

Renovation works at Larnaca and Paphos airports are in full swing, aiming to enhance Cyprus as an air transport hub. The second phase of the project, costing €170 million, is fully funded by Hermes Airports. Significant upgrades to the infrastructure are expected, including new wings and security areas. The projects are set to be completed in 2027 for Larnaca and by April 2027 for Paphos. Consequently, the capacity of Larnaca Airport will increase to 12.4 million passengers.
