Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that the only realistic solution to the Cyprus issue is the coexistence of two states. This announcement followed his meeting with the new Turkish Cypriot leader, Tufan Erhürman. He mentioned that continuing negotiations without prospects is pointless.
