Scheduled Court Appearance in Thanasis Nicolaou Case

The first court appearance for five defendants in the case of Thanasis Nicolaou is set for December 9, 2023. The charges relate to his death in 2005 in Limassol, which was ruled a suicide. If the charges are successfully served, the defendants will have to appear in court to face them. However, there is a possibility of requesting a suspension of the charges based on a previous statement from the Assistant Attorney General. If successful, a second indictment regarding members of the National Guard may also be filed.
