Approval for a new Aircraft Maintenance Hangar at Larnaca Airport

The Environmental Authority has approved the construction of a new aircraft maintenance hangar for Bird Aviation at Larnaca Airport. The project, costing approximately €3 million, is expected to be completed within a year and will include two modern hangars, both large and small. This development will not impact the protected Natura 2000 area. Various environmental conditions have been set to ensure the protection of the environment during construction. The company employs over 250 staff, the majority of whom are Cypriots.
