Lawyer Sentenced for Stealing Traffic Accident Victim's Compensation

A lawyer was sentenced to five years in prison for a series of felonies committed against a traffic accident victim. Instead of giving the victim a compensation of 257,000 euros, he only provided 25,000 euros and kept the remaining amount. The lawyer, who admitted his guilt, requested parole 17 months after his sentencing, but his request was denied.
