Attempted Kidnapping in Larnaca

The police are investigating an attempted kidnapping of a 51-year-old Ukrainian man in Larnaca. The man was attacked by three individuals while approaching a suspicious commercial vehicle. The assailants, wearing masks, tried to force him into the vehicle but fled when he reacted. Authorities located the vehicle, which contained a pistol and other evidence. Both men suffered slight injuries from the attack.
