Christodoulides and Erhurman's Meeting and the Situation in Cyprus

The recent meeting between President Christodoulides and Tufan Erhurman did not change the situation between Cyprus and Turkey. Erhurman is not in a position to discuss substantive issues regarding Turkey on the island. Reports concerning Turkey's two-state policy have increased. Erhurman presented a ten-point plan that does not address the core challenges of the Cyprus issue. The primary concern remains Turkey's control over Cyprus.
