Canadian Students' Visit to Old Nicosia to Study Ancient Greek

Canadian students are learning Ancient Greek and visited old Nicosia, connecting with the Greek language and culture. They read famous ancient works and chose second names from ancient Greeks. The students expressed their wish to see churches and historic buildings, avoiding visits to the occupied areas. The tours were organized by Ms. Theocharidi and Mr. Pagkalos, who has personal experience of the occupation. This experience combines language learning with the promotion of Greek heritage.
