Increase in Traffic Accidents and Safety Measures

This year, over 4,500 drivers have been found driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, leading to an increase in traffic fatalities. So far, 43 people have died in road accidents, which is an increase compared to last year. There is particular concern over the high number of motorcyclist casualties and minor infractions that can result in fatal accidents. The Traffic Director stated that there will be increased checks for road safety and violations. The situation is critical and requires coordinated actions to reduce fatalities.
