Resignations at the Drug Addiction Authority Board Due to President's Reappointment

The entire board of the Cyprus Drug Addiction Authority resigned in protest against the reappointment of its president, Christos Mina. Six out of the seven members expressed serious concerns about Mina's behavior and cooperation. They stated that their resignation was necessary due to their inability to perform their duties effectively. The members emphasized that Mina’s actions undermine the principles of meritocracy and good governance. Their resignation is viewed as a denunciation of authoritarianism and arbitrary decision-making.
