Report on Rapes of Women in Sudan

In Sudan, at least 19 women reported being gang-raped while trying to escape from the city of El Fasher during an attack by paramilitary forces. Two of these women were pregnant. The situation in Sudan has escalated, with hundreds of thousands affected by the civil war that erupted in April 2023.
