Changes in entry requirements for travelers to the US

The travel process to the US is changing, as visitors from 42 countries will need to provide their social media history for the last five years. This new proposal from US officials is part of a policy for better border security. Additionally, travelers will need to provide phone numbers and email addresses, while the cost for submitting the ESTA will remain $40. The government expects an increase in tourism in 2026 due to the Men's World Cup. This proposal has also been officially published in the federal government's register.
