Upgrade of Ledra and Onasagorou Pedestrian Areas in Nicosia

The heart of Nicosia, the pedestrian areas of Ledra and Onasagorou, is entering a new era of significant upgrading. The Municipality of Nicosia announced projects for reconstructing the pedestrian areas, with a cost of 12 million euros. For the first time, a Project Manager will be hired to oversee the project, signaling a commitment to transparency and participation. Additionally, interventions have been completed to enhance quality of life, such as the installation of canopies. The mayor promised that decisions will be made with the involvement of citizens and businesses.
