December 12, 2025
Private hospitals in Cyprus are preparing measures that will affect the operation of the General Health System. The Pancyprian Association of Private Hospitals and other organizations express their disappointment towards the Ministry of Health for the lack of nurses. There is a risk of closing private clinics due to the failure to meet the required number of nurses. The Minister of Health stated that new nurses will be available in the coming years. The organizations are calling for immediate solutions and a 15-day deadline to address the problem.
