Request for Suspension of Prosecution in the Thanasis Nikolaou Case

A new development arises in the case of Thanasis Nikolaou, as one of the defendants requests a suspension of the prosecution. Christakis Kapiliotis, a former police officer, argues that more than 20 years have passed since Thanasis's death. In his letter, he states that there is insufficient evidence to support the charges. The Attorney General has asked the lawyers for the Nikolaou family to respond to Kapiliotis's request. Similar reactions are expected from other defendants as well.
