Presentation of Priorities of Cyprus' EU Presidency by President Christodoulides

President Nikos Christodoulides met with journalists to present the priorities of Cyprus' Presidency of the EU Council. He emphasized the importance of tradition and openness in Lefkara, where he also attended activities at the Christmas Village. He highlighted the need to restart talks for the Cypriot issue and expressed hope for positive developments with the new leadership of the Turkish Cypriot community. His statements are focused on the goal of reunification of Cyprus. The logo of the Presidency incorporates the traditional character of Cyprus.
