Auditor General's Concerns Regarding Gas and Renewable Energy Projects

The Auditor General Andreas Papaconsantinu expressed concern over issues related to the completion of the gas terminal and the Prometheus unit. The Audit Service may send auditors for inspection and will seek updates. There are contradictions regarding the electricity interconnection project, for which a study was requested, despite the government considering it of strategic importance. Furthermore, delays involving the Electricity Authority in the construction of Renewable Energy projects are under investigation. The situation is being monitored and inquiries are ongoing.
