History of the Presidential Palace from 1878 to Present

Experts from the Virtual Environments Laboratory of the Cyprus Institute created a virtual representation of the Presidential Palace's history from 1878 to the present. The project was based on in-depth historical research and architectural designs of predecessor buildings. The Governor's House, which became the current Presidential Palace, was designed with traditional Cypriot architectural elements. The structure features symbolic elements and local materials known for their durability. This representation offers a unique opportunity to explore Cyprus's cultural heritage.
