Starting today, January 7, the renewal of vehicle licenses for the year 2026 begins. Licenses can be renewed for 3, 6, 9, or 12 months, with a deadline of March 11, 2026. After the deadline, a fine will be imposed, consisting of a base amount of €10 plus 10% of the license fee. The renewal process requires a certificate of suitability and insurance, and it is recommended to complete the process in advance. Citizens should also report any vehicles that will not be renewed.
