Delay in Evaluating Disability Pension Application

A woman has been waiting for 10 years for a response to her disability pension application, despite being supported by the Supreme Court. The delay is due to a mistake made by her doctor, who did not properly speak Greek. Despite being assessed as having a severe permanent disability, the relevant authorities have not reevaluated her situation. The Commissioner of Administration has requested an immediate reevaluation of her application. The issue reached the Commissioner through the Cyprus Confederation of Organizations of Disabled Persons.
