The President of the Republic is the highest paid, with a net salary of €9,145. This is followed by the Attorney General and judges with salaries around €9,207. Ministers and Deputy Ministers earn a net salary of €6,078. At the lower end of the scale are deputy spokespersons and members of independent authorities with lower earnings.
