Attempted Murder in Kiti Driven by Personal Rivalries

The attempted murder in Kiti was motivated by personal rivalries. A 38-year-old man stabbed the 35-year-old partner of his ex-girlfriend five times. The attacker had been observing the woman's movements and struck when he saw her with her new partner. The 35-year-old sustained serious injuries, but his health is not in danger. The 38-year-old was arrested for illegal residency in Cyprus and will appear in court.
