Closure of Sun Valley I Slope Due to Vehicle Damage

The Sun Valley I ski slope in Troodos was closed just 24 hours after opening due to damage caused by 4x4 vehicles. Unknown individuals breached fences and damaged the snow-covered ground. Such incidents are common when there isn't enough snow to deter vehicle access. The slope will remain closed until further notice. Meanwhile, beginner slopes are still open for use.
