In vitro fertilization (IVF) has significantly advanced since the birth of the first test tube baby in 1978. In Cyprus, assisted reproductive methods have been available since 1988. Over the past decade, subsidies have reached €31.4 million, benefiting nearly 15,000 individuals. There are various methods such as intrauterine insemination and IVF. Myths surrounding these procedures continue to affect couples' decisions.
