Sales of Agricultural Land Through Electronic Auctions

Recent electronic auctions have led to the sale of land at very low prices, such as a plot sold for only €21 in the mountainous area of Nicosia. These incidents highlight past failures related to secured lending practices. Similar stories of purchases at extremely low prices continue, including a 3 m² plot sold for €80. The 2013 financial crisis has prompted stricter procedures in financial institutions. However, these practices still raise concerns today.
