Fatal Workplace Accident in Kofinou

A serious workplace accident occurred in Kofinou on Friday afternoon, where a 55-year-old Romanian worker, FINS ALEXANDRU, lost his life while unloading concrete counterweights from a truck. The worker was employed by a private company working on the assembly of electricity poles. The truck tipped to the right, under circumstances being investigated, causing the fatal injury. Police are conducting an investigation and will seek an arrest warrant for the truck driver. The accident is being investigated in cooperation with the labor office.
