January 31, 2026
A family from Lebanon, with six minor children, found themselves homeless in Cyprus after their asylum request was denied. A Cypriot citizen helped them by providing shelter and food while trying to contact authorities for further assistance. Despite efforts, the services did not provide adequate support or alternative housing. The family stated they have no money or food and are in a dire situation. After much pressure, they eventually agreed to leave the country.
