Canonization of Hieromonk Tychon and Khadzhi-Georgy

The Ecumenical Patriarchate has decided to canonize Hieromonk Tychon and Khadzhi-Georgy. Tychon, known as the spiritual father of Saint Paisios, was an important figure at Mount Athos, dedicated to prayer and asceticism. Khadzhi-Georgy, hailing from Cappadocia, also lived in Capsala and received his title from his pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Both saints are recognized for their spiritual legacy and devotion to Orthodox tradition. The announcement was made during the session of the Holy and Sacred Synod.
