Plan for the Largest Urban Park in Cyprus in Engomi

The municipality of Nicosia is planning to create the largest urban park in Cyprus, located in Engomi. The park will feature two lakes and will cover an area of about 240,000 square meters. The budget for the development of the site is estimated at around 50 million euros. Processes for site design and an architectural competition are underway. Proposals for new roads in the area are rejected to maintain the neighborhood's character.
