Concerns About Population Aging in Cyprus

In Cyprus, the population is aging, with 18.3% of citizens over the age of 65. The country has the fastest aging rate in the EU over the last decade. The average age increased from 37 years in 2015 to 41 by 2025. Additionally, the percentage of children under 14 is declining. Currently, only 15.2% of the population is under 14 years old.
