Percentage of Foreigners in Cyprus and the EU in 2025

In 2025, nearly 10.4% of the EU population is made up of people born outside the EU, with the largest numbers in Germany. Luxembourg has the highest percentage of foreigners relative to its total population, followed by Malta and Cyprus. In Cyprus, foreigners represent 24.8% of the population. There is also a significant increase in the number of third-country nationals residing in the EU. In contrast, countries like Poland and Romania have much lower percentages of foreigners.
