Arrests and Drug Seizures by YKAN

Two individuals were arrested by the Drug Enforcement Agency (YKAN), leading to the seizure of 230,000 doses of drugs and a total of 233.5 kilos of narcotics. The arrested individuals are not considered to be the masterminds behind the operation, and investigations are ongoing to identify other involved parties. Weapons and other dangerous devices were also found, but the origin of the drugs has not yet been determined. The YKAN Director stated that more arrests may follow if new information arises. The drugs were discovered during an operation that took place in Strovolos.
