Limassol hosted an impressive carnival parade, filled with thousands of participants. After the parade, a significant cleaning operation began on the central Arch. Makarios Avenue. Mayor Yiannis Armeftis reported that in just three hours, 50 workers and volunteers managed to remove 50 tons of waste. The city returned to normalcy, and the avenue was handed back to traffic.
