Death of 17-Year-Old in Road Collision in Nicosia

Seventeen-year-old Ioannis Nikolaou from Nicosia tragically lost his life in a road collision yesterday afternoon. The accident occurred when a 54-year-old driver collided with the young man's motorcycle. Although he was taken to the hospital, his death was confirmed shortly after. The car driver was arrested and found to be over the legal alcohol limit. The traffic police are continuing the investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
