The authorities of the Republic of Cyprus are closely monitoring developments in the Middle East, finding no cause for concern regarding Cyprus. A key priority is the repatriation of Cypriots in countries affected by the conflicts, with around 600 individuals having requested assistance. The majority are in the United Arab Emirates, and the Foreign Ministry is providing guidance for their registration on a special platform. The government will cover accommodation expenses for those in Abu Dhabi, while instructions are also available for other destinations. There are also suggestions to contact the airlines used to cover return expenses.
