Mismanagement of Turkish Cypriot Properties by Paphos Municipality

The report from the Ministry of the Interior reveals serious misconduct in the management of Turkish Cypriot properties by the Paphos Municipality during the mayoralty of Phaedon Phaedonos. It was found that the Municipality violated principles of transparency and equal treatment, which had serious repercussions for the beneficiaries. The investigation covered 110 rental contracts, focusing on properties that included buildings and agricultural land. There are criminal responsibilities being explored by the Cyprus Police. The report was handed over to the Minister of the Interior, Constantinos Ioannou, for further actions.
