New Regulations for the Election of President of the Parliament

The Plenary of the Parliament voted on new regulations for the election of the President of the Parliament. The changes include direct voting and live transmissions of committee sessions. 39 members voted in favor, while 8 opposed and 4 abstained. The new rules propose two rounds of voting in case no absolute majority is achieved in the first round. The process is set to be implemented, enhancing the transparency of elections.
