Increasing Incidents of School Violence in Safe School Team Research

The Safe School Team's research for the 2024-2025 school year highlights concerning rates of school violence, mainly physical and verbal. Students frequently experience assaults involving hitting and insults, with a notable rise in cyberbullying incidents. Many cases are linked to family difficulties and social isolation. Although the research included only 98 schools, the findings reveal clear trends. Immediate interventions are necessary from educators and policymakers.
