Improvement in Reservoir Capacity but Concerns for the Future

The water reservoir capacity stands at 33.9%, which is better than last year but still insufficient for long-term security. Marios Chatzikostis, an engineer from the Water Development Department, noted that the best monthly inflow was in March. Since October, the total inflow has been 81 million cubic meters. However, he warned that water usage must be cautious due to frequent droughts. This year has shown improvement, but the situation does not allow for complacency.
