Review of Cardiac Arrests: Critical Findings and Need for Education
April 8, 2026
Cardiac arrests occur more frequently in January and April, possibly due to seasonal infections and holidays. More men are affected, with the median age of victims being 74 years. In 67.81% of cases, there was no intervention from bystanders, and CPR was performed in only 20.72% of instances. The average ambulance response time was within international standards at 7.79 minutes. The study emphasizes the critical need for public education on first aid.
