Implementation of Ten Solar Parks in Cyprus

Ten solar parks with a total capacity of 26.7 MW are planned across various locations in Cyprus. Some of these parks will incorporate advanced energy storage technologies. Environmental studies have been completed and are now open for public consultation. These projects are expected to significantly contribute to reducing CO2 emissions and increasing the use of renewable energy sources. However, there are concerns regarding the use of agricultural land for these parks.
