Assault on 22-Year-Old Inmate at Central Prisons

A 22-year-old inmate was attacked by two fellow prisoners at the Central Prisons. He sustained injuries and was promptly taken to the General Hospital of Nicosia for treatment. The prison staff reacted quickly, controlling the situation. The Prison Directorate informed the Police, which is investigating the incident. Authorities are fully cooperating to understand the circumstances of the attack.
